The Sr Manager, State Government Sales is responsible for managing and directing the state government sales strategy in collaboration with front-line Government sellers. This role involves leading and managing a team of 8+ sellers, motivating, and coaching them to achieve strong performance results. Job Responsibilities: - Develop and implement sales generation strategies to support new state government business. - Identify retention opportunities to maintain and grow the existing customer base. - Lead and manage a team of 8+ sellers. - Motivate, coach, and guide the team to achieve strong performance results. - Provide strategic leadership and support to ensure team success. - Support additional non-selling and administrative functions as needed. - Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by business management. Education: - High School Diploma/GED (Required) - Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) Work Experience: - 2-4 years of team management experience. - 2-4 years of sales management experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Expertise in government procurement (Required). - Strong strategic leadership skills (Required). - Proficiency in customer acquisition (Required). - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Legally authorized to work in the United States. Total Target Cash Pay Range: $197,800 - $356,700, inclusive of target incentives Base Pay Range: $138,460 - $249,690 The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
