Eliot's Outpatient Clinic provides evidence-based evaluation, counseling, and medication management for children, families and adults with mental health and substance use needs. The ideal candidate has experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses. They possess strong leadership and clinical skills, are proficient in psychiatric and medical care coordination, and are committed to providing compassionate, community-based services in a culturally competent and recovery-oriented environment. Responsibilities: - Provide education and consultation to consumers and staff regarding medical and mental health needs, including psychiatric supports, interventions, services, medication and medical topics. - Provide 1:1 training to clients that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement, in specific individualized need areas. - Develop and conduct groups and trainings for consumers and staff in general areas of health and wellness including nutrition, exercise, and smoking cessation, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques. - Manage and supervise staff in developing treatment goals related to medical and health conditions, and in providing oversight, guidance and assistance to consumers with understanding their medical conditions. - Perform direct medical care for a consumer.
