About the job As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role, focused on supporting customers with Alfa Laval Separation equipment in effort to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Currently, this is a Remote opportunity located in United States. As a part of the team, you will: - Subject matter expert (SME) in separation equipment products & its application. - Proactively looks for opportunities to enhance the actual offering (e.g., training, condition audits). - Proactively works with Service Sales and Field Service to drive the successful roll out and implementation of the value-added services. - Support the Service Sales team related to separation equipment products and be true business partners and Sales enablers. - Directly support and be the key technical partner for customers, making visits, meetings and interactions with customers focusing on product presentations to offer a customized and willing value proposition. - Cluster trainer for a specific product and application: Define and delivery training programs for the AL employees, channels and customers. - Act as local champion during the launch of new service products. - Be a visible technical expert both virtual and in person, troubleshooting complex technical issues, talking about our Product and Applications in industry and promoting the Alfa Laval brand with our customers. - Develops analysis methods to determine reliability of equipment and processes. - Analyzes data from connected equipment to define reliability problems and make recommendations for improvements. - Generate leads & opportunities in OneCRM for service sales follow up. - Ability to learn and use multiple Alfa Laval information technology systems. - Travel estimated up to 40%. What you know: You have diploma/associate degree in engineering or a related field degree, with relevant experience and: - 5+ years of rotating equipment or related industrial equipment experience. - Strong product knowledge and/or application experience with decanter centrifuges. - Ability to gather, analyze and suggest solutions to problems that may arise in the process. - Strong drive, determination and willingness to develop ideas and procedures to solve problems. - Excellence in customer interaction and engagement; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Ability to use and learn Service digital tools. - Must be a team player and related to people at all levels. - Well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to work with international colleagues. - Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows; Electrical troubleshooting. - Self-motivated with a determined work ethic. - Structured and organized. - Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
