We are seeking a Sr. Front End Developer who has an active Secret Clearance to join our team. If you have modern framework experience and a solid understanding of key web application design principles, you might be a great fit in helping us solve some of our nation’s most complex space app user experience challenges. We are a small company dispersed across the U.S. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, and supportive. This is a fully remote role. Due to the nature of our work, this person needs to be a US-citizen, based in the United States, who already has an Active Secret Clearance with the DoD. About You - You are a strong front-end developer with 5+ years experience developing complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, prioritizing client-side development. - You have experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+). - You are knowledgeable about modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and/or Vue. - You have experience with or a strong interest in map libraries and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js). - You understand W3C compliance. - You understand key web application design principles. - You enjoy working closely with both internal and external design teams, enjoy the UI/UX design process, and ensure the feasibility of the design, clarify ambiguous designs, and build reusable code and components. - You have an Active Top Secret Clearance and are eligible for SCI. - You are willing & able to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph within a year of being hired. - You are willing to work onsite daily in Centennial, CO. - You are a US Citizen who lives in the USA (due to Rocket's work with local and federal government agencies this is a firm requirement). Bonus Points - Expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language– ideally Go or Java– or Ruby, Python, PHP, or C++ - Understanding of government and enterprise work - Experience in server-side development $104,000 - $151,000 a year The compensation package features an annual revenue bonus, contingent upon the company's financial success for the year. Rocket Communications determines the salary range for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Our base salary offers are mainly determined by levels of experience.
