Role Description Move For Hunger is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Special Events Coordinator to manage partner-level events and support the execution of special events and experiential engagements across the organization. This role is responsible for independently coordinating partner-hosted events, food drives, and corporate engagement activities while assisting the Experiential Events Manager with larger conferences, activations, and signature experiences. The Special Events Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring partner events run smoothly, volunteers are coordinated effectively, and event logistics are handled with precision. This role will have the autonomy to manage smaller-scale partner events while contributing to the broader events strategy. This position reports to the Experiential Events Manager within the Corporate Engagement team and ultimately reports up to the Director of Corporate Engagement. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, event management, communications, hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, nonprofit programs, or partnership engagement. - Strong organizational and project management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience coordinating events, logistics, or volunteer programs. - Willingness to travel nationally 20–30% for events and conferences.
