Creative Project Manager – Contract

• Manage end to end execution of all creative projects. Review project briefs, determine timelines and key milestones, identify and facilitate key reviewers, remove blockers. • Resource management - Ensure the right creatives (graphic designers, copywriters, video editors, etc.) are assigned to the right projects while balancing workload capacity. Monitor team bandwidth, prioritize tasks, and strategically reshuffle as needed to support business priorities. • End to end asana management - Translate briefs into actionable, structured workflows. Asana will be your temple, and you will be obsessed with keeping it organized, updated, and optimized. • Act as the primary point of contact between creative teams and stakeholders. Ensure work has been reviewed by all appropriate stakeholders. • Own all review scheduling, calendar management, and status updates. Ongoing identification of next steps for all projects. • Act as a central point of accountability for timelines, deliverables, and creative quality across all projects. • Obsess over workflow optimization. Always seek more efficient, higher quality ways of working. • Review + troubleshoot all briefs/creative requests to ensure they’re clear and complete prior to execution. This requires a high level of critical thinking. • Risk management: Monitor project progress closely to proactively identify bottlenecks, resource constraints, and potential timeline issues, escalating to leadership when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • 4–5+ years in project management, specifically within a creative environment.
  • Proficiency in a project management software (bonus points for Asana), Slack, and Google Suite familiarity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between creative team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong organization, critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

The Role As an Project Controls Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the Project Delivery team in development, delivery, and maintenance of Cavnue projects, including helping to coordinate tasks during the design, construction and deployment phases of the project, and to help manage all aspects of the projects from start to finish alongside Project Managers. The primary tasks include contract administration, scheduling, documentation review and tracking, project budgets, interfacing with public agency clients, and prime and subcontractors, and quality assurance associated with projects. We are looking for an individual that is passionate about the future of roads, who is willing to think creatively, and who is ready to join a growing team of engineers to design Cavnue’s next set of projects. Role overview: - Coordinate daily activities with Cavnue Project Managers, contractors and subcontractors to address issues and maintain project progress. - Assist in developing contract modifications, addenda, and other project documentation. - Prepare daily reports, maintain accurate records, and support project documentation control. - Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring timely submission, tracking, and documentation. - Manage project budgets and schedules to support on-time, on-budget delivery. - Track risk/opportunity register across all projects - Support proposal development and production, including materials, presentations, and compliance documentation. - Assist Project Delivery staff in identifying problems, developing solutions, and coordinating stakeholder meetings. - Maintain electronic file systems and project portals, providing administrative support and facilitating communication with DOT and other stakeholders. - Interface with Cavnue and Consor leadership for monthly/quarterly project reviews Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management; 1+ years of experience in project engineering or construction/project management on large-scale highway and/or ITS projects. - Experience with DOT or local agency construction projects, including field inspection and project engineering roles. - Knowledge of DOT documentation and Document Controls, Standard Specifications for Construction,, contract modifications, and contractor payment procedures. - Experience with scheduling software. - Experience with estimating, budgeting, and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle. - Proficiency with Field Manager and ProjectWise; Strong ability to collaborate consultants and contractors, with excellent professional communication skills. - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, applying innovative problem-solving skills. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the location(s) listed below and is the range Cavnue reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. Actual pay may vary based on these factors and geography. Remote - $110,000 - $150,000 Additional Compensation: The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in Cavnue's discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
