Quality Assurance Specialist
Cube
• Review, analyze, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify feature requirements and acceptance criteria • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing • Identify and document defects with clear replication steps during testing • Verify bug fixes and perform retesting • Triage and translate customer issues into actionable reproduction steps for engineering • Participate in Agile ceremonies
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals
- Experience with manual testing methodologies
- Experience with development tools (Github, Postman, browser DevTools) and observability platforms (DataDog, Mixpanel)
- Knowledge of how financial planning and accounting professionals use spreadsheets
- Experience using Jira, Xray, Excel, Google Sheets
- Ability to write clear, detailed test cases
- Ability to effectively communicate across multiple departments using written, interpersonal, and verbal skills
- Familiarity with Agile processes
- Proficient in troubleshooting with attention to detail mindset
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to maintaining quality standards under tight deadlines
- Customer-focused mindset
- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite a plus
- Knowledge of AI-Native QA methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Applitools a plus
