Senior Cloud Solutions DevOps Architect
Connexin
• Architect and implement secure, scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure. • Lead application and infrastructure modernization initiatives using cloud-native services. • Design highly available, multi-region architectures aligned with SLA, RPO, and RTO requirements. • Establish cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, and operational guardrails. • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab across multiple environments. • Lead enterprise-scale Infrastructure as Code (IaC) programs using Terraform. • Automate environment provisioning, configuration management, and release orchestration. • Design and manage complex cloud networking architectures. • Act as a technical liaison between Development, QA, Security, and SaaS Operations. • Embed security-by-design and zero-trust principles across cloud and DevOps platforms. • Lead FinOps initiatives, including cloud cost optimization, forecasting, and chargeback. • Serve as senior technical authority for cloud, networking, and DevOps platforms. • Mentor DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and SaaS Ops Reliability Engineers.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Similar Competency is preferred, but not required to be successful.
- 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, Networking, or DevOps.
- 7+ years of hands-on cloud engineering and architecture experience in AWS and/or Azure.
- Extensive enterprise networking experience including: Routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Hybrid cloud connectivity and secure remote access.
- Load balancers, reverse proxies, and WAFs.
- Expert-level experience with: AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS, ELB, Route 53).
- Azure core services (VMs, VNETs, Azure AD, App Services, AKS, Load Balancer, Front Door).
- Terraform for large-scale IaC.
- Git and GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong experience with: Linux and Windows server platforms.
- Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).
