Role Description We are currently seeking a Technical Director who will oversee all engineering across Devoted’s co-development projects. You’ll be responsible for technical strategy, execution quality, engineering leadership, and scalable systems that support multiple concurrent client partnerships. You’ll act as the senior technical authority both internally and with external partners. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience in game development. - 5+ years in a technical leadership role (Director, VP Engineering, or CTO). - Strong understanding of game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity). - Expertise in C++, C#, or other relevant game programming languages. - Experience shipping multiple commercial games across PC, console, and/or mobile. - Strong knowledge of software architecture, networking, graphics pipelines, and optimization. - Proven ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with live-service games and online infrastructure. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Familiarity with automation pipelines. - Experience working in multi-studio or distributed team environments.
