• Perform utilization review of authorization requests regarding specialty therapy services for members • Assist with training and network management support for therapy providers • Perform detailed review of therapy service requests based on evidenced based practice and organizational policies • Refer members to case management as appropriate based on service request assessment • Provide clinical recommendations for any adverse therapy determination • Provide clinical expertise based on shared practice standards regarding sub-specialty therapy practice to peers • Provide support for specialty therapy providers, including assistance with clinical trainings, consultation and guidance on matters related to therapy authorization and provision • Provide clinical expertise to multi-functional areas within organization to support provider relations and operations • Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in area of specialty therapy or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience providing therapy services in healthcare or home health settings
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Current state license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Therapy
- Speech-Language Therapist must have an active Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

Role Description We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Professional in Guam, Indiana, Ohio, and Colorado (CO providers are required to have an MD) who is dedicated to helping us succeed in our mission by being able to connect with clients to perform assessments in a professional and ethical manner. This is a 1099 Contract position where pay is piecemeal at a rate starting at $25 per consultation performed. Responsibilities of Licensed Mental Health Professionals: - Receive referrals for consultations within states that you are licensed in. - Flexible scheduling as we are open 7 days a week, covering all 50 states. - Contact clients within the next 24 hours to complete or schedule their consultation once added to your waiting room. - Perform diagnostic mental health assessments to assess clients’ need for an Emotional Support Animal or Psychiatric Service Animal. - Use any scales or assessments necessary to determine if the client meets the criteria for a diagnosis within the DSM-5. - Ask questions to understand the environment surrounding your client to determine their benefit from an emotional support animal or psychiatric service animal. - Approve clients for an Emotional Support Animal if deemed beneficial at the end of the consultation. - Communicate and receive support from our agents at SAPS LLC to ensure clients receive proper documentation and any necessary changes to their letter or account.
