Your day at NTT DATA The Senior Associate Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for providing support relating to the organization's supply chain solutions and its optimization, processes, and use of resources. The primary objective of this role is to achieve cost benefits, delivery reliability and customer satisfaction through the best possible administration of solutions (flow of material, value, information). This role participates in the execution of the logistics and supply chain strategy that defines the connection and combination of activities and functions throughout the value chain including B2B integration. Key responsibilities: - Provides support with availability of the necessary processes and systems to enable the buying team to execute the everyday activities. - Contributes to the flow of materials, products, services and information. - Interacts with vendors and clients and intervene when queries from these stakeholders are escalated. - Remains involved with the buying process by participating in the delivery of advanced components of the process including the final resolution of problems and queries. - Proactively implements the necessary processes to ensure continuous client satisfaction. - Participates in the pre-sales processes and/or successes to ensure growth within the assigned portfolio. - Works closely with internal stakeholders to create the best solution design for the client and develop procedures and systems for commercial supply chain projects ensuring commercial readiness. - Supports strategic projects that identify risks to supply chain delivery and drive the implementation of appropriate solutions. - Assists with any other relevant task as requested by management.
