We look forward to having you as part of our team in the role of Data Engineer (Mid-Level). - Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from multiple sources. - Support optimization of data processing workflows for performance and reliability. - Implement batch and real-time data processing using Apache Spark, Kafka, and Databricks. - Support development of data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses (Azure Databricks). - Work with structured and unstructured data across SQL and NoSQL databases. - Implement data validation, cleansing, and monitoring. - Support data governance and compliance policies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). - Maintain documentation, metadata, and data lineage. - Deploy and support cloud-based data solutions (Azure, Databricks). - Collaborate with data analysts and software engineers. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Experience in data architecture or related field (within the overall required experience). - Total experience aligned to mid-level seniority. - Experience with data ingestion pathways including ADF. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala. - Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks. - Experience with big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Databricks). - Knowledge of data modeling and API-based integrations. - Familiarity with Medallion Architecture. Soft Skills - Oral Communication – Speaks clearly and listens effectively. - Organizational Support – Follows processes and supports company goals. - Professionalism – Works respectfully and handles pressure effectively. - Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
