Role Description PharMerica is seeking a data-driven, strategic leader to own and evolve our enterprise pharmacy workforce management function. This role partners closely with executive leaders of operations, finance, and technology enablement teams to design intelligent, scalable staffing strategies—balancing human expertise with automation, analytics, and operational insight. The Senior Director of Pharmacy Workforce Management is responsible for designing and optimizing the staffing model for our national pharmacy and call center operations. Using advanced analytics and modern workforce tools, this Workforce Management function enables proactive decision-making, predictive forecasting, and actionable visibility into performance—creating a smarter, more connected workforce ecosystem. This position leads a team of professionals implementing Workforce Management initiatives focused on: - Forecasting - Scheduling - Real-time monitoring - Process optimization The ideal candidate will have Workforce Management experience in a leadership role. This is a remote opportunity, able to reside anywhere in the Continental USA. Travel: 20% Effectively work with: - Workforce Management software such as Verint and RingCentral - Communication software Responsibilities - Lead the enterprise workforce planning department and own annual budget scenario modeling in partnership with Operations and Finance Executive Leaders. - Implement through their team advanced analytics to forecast staffing needs, leveraging data trends and automation opportunities. - Develop and manage through their team operational dashboards to monitor KPIs, SLAs, and service levels across 90+ pharmacy locations and call center functions. - Drive modern WFM and AI-assisted tools (e.g., Verint, predictive modeling, or automation insights) integration to improve accuracy, efficiency, and engagement. - Champion proactive, data-driven decision-making—using insights to identify workflow gaps, optimize schedules, and reduce administrative costs. - Drive operational excellence through real-time visibility, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Coach and develop the workforce management team to ensure capability building, innovation, and leadership depth.
