Sales / Business Development Representative – SDR, BDR
Prelude
• Reach out to prospects via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to spark interest. • Research and connect with potential clients, turning initial contacts into qualified opportunities. • Leverage referrals from team members, early customers, and your own network to uncover new opportunities. • Share relevant insights, content, or research to initiate meaningful conversations with prospects. • Take full ownership of your pipeline, prioritizing high-potential prospects and accounts. • Track results, follow up strategically, and iterate your approach to maximize impact. • Manage inbound leads efficiently, qualifying and routing opportunities to keep the sales engine moving. • Demonstrate competitive drive, curiosity, and resilience in every interaction. • Engage prospects in thoughtful conversations that build relationships and generate opportunities. • Capture trends, objections, and gaps in the market, sharing insights with leadership to refine messaging and strategy. • Contribute ideas for new ways to identify and engage prospects, helping scale Origin’s outreach efforts. • Contribute to building playbooks, templates, and frameworks for the team.
Job Requirements
- 2 - 3 Years of Sales Experience: BDR, SDR, retail, B2B, or other competitive roles that demonstrate results.
- Competitive Drive & Grit: Ambitious, persistent, and motivated to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Self-Starter Mindset: Takes ownership of outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline without needing a playbook.
- Strong Communication: Builds rapport quickly, asks the right questions, and conveys value clearly.
- Creative & Resourceful: Finds new ways to generate leads and open doors.
- Collaborative with Leadership: Works closely with the CEO and early team, sharing insights and contributing to strategy.

- Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation tools, or other sales engagement platforms.
