Position Location This is a fully remote position based in Chesapeake, VA. Occasional travel may be required. Job Overview The Data Entry and Assistant will assist with the contract supporting Sea Commander Fleet Service Representatives COR and Project Manager in updating CGFIXIT tickets online through the CGOne network that tracks all C5ISR casualties onboard the NSC’s. Working with C5ISC Fleet Service Representative team, Administrative Assistant will provide administrative, database management & support services for FSR contract throughout the period of performance. Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: - Track expenditure for this contract and required paperwork (CDRL’s) to be submitted to the Coast Guard Contract Office Representative. - Manage and track all casualties, maintaining analysis of high-failure items and a running history of issues. Ensure technicians have access to this database to support troubleshooting and resolution of new issues, and provide historical data to the CG COR. - Catalog and archive software media included and/or created for C5ISR systems and equipment. - Input entries into CGFIXIT that the FSR’s identify with the casualty description, date of casualty, possible faulty equipment or part, estimated time of repair and which FSR is responsible for the repair actions. - Support PM and CG COR in management and tracking of deliverables for this contract, schedule and attend meetings to record all contract deliverables and actions. - Assign travel to FSR to support the various units and locations and provide travel assistance when needed. - Support Field Technicians in the day-to-day recording and management of C5ISC CGFix-it tickets that document the casualties with the systems they support. - Support the purchase of material will be required for the performance of this effort. Materials may include but are not limited to, audio visual equipment and supplies: transmitters, receivers, CODEC’s, digital signal processor, audio amplifier, display mounts, displays, microphones, speakers, racks, power injectors, AV matrix, cables, connectors, patch cords, bolts, rack screws, tools, labels, shipping and handling materials. Job Requirements Mandatory: - Must be a US citizen. - High school diploma or equivalent GED and three (3) years in administrative support experience. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. - Willing to work extended hours including weekends and holidays as required. - Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
