Business Operations Associate
Contrarian Thinking
• Support strategic planning and execution: build models, create dashboards, track KPIs, and identify where we're falling short or where opportunities exist • Create polished deliverables for internal leadership and external stakeholders (board decks, strategy memos, reports) • Dive into our financials and operational data to surface insights and trends that inform decision-making • Manage cross-functional projects that support company priorities - product launches, partnership initiatives, process improvements • Support marketing and growth initiatives as needed • Own problems end-to-end: you'll be expected to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive implementation
Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or high-growth startups
- Strong analytical skills with comfort in financial modeling, data analysis, and business metrics; project management experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication - you can distill complexity into clear, compelling narratives
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, but able to move quickly and prioritize ruthlessly
- Self-starter who's energized by variety and comfortable with ambiguity
- Excited about startups and eager to learn across all aspects of a business
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides; experience with design tools like Figma or Canva a plus
