We are looking for this candidate to possess experience in the healthcare sector, specifically within a data analysis role at a provider organization. They should have a solid understanding of the general documentation, billing, and follow-up processes that providers do with insurance companies. This candidate should also be comfortable working with disparate data sets and joining them together for consolidated analyses, think CSVs, JSON, and writing SQL queries across multiple databases. They should also have strong communication skills to ensure the data is well understood and creates actionable insights. Experience with BigQuery, Looker, Mode, de-identification of PHI, AI-assisted analysis, and utilizing API calls to retrieve data is a plus. What will you do? - Proactively review trends in outstanding A/R, denials, and various payment issues to find areas of opportunity for the department - Pull and join multiple data sources together, including the use of SQL, API calls for data, and downloading reports from internal system into Excel or Google Sheets - Communicate findings and recommendations with department and cross functional leadership for areas of improvement - Create monthly reporting packages to keep leadership informed of key metrics - Support ad hoc data requests from leaders to support operational tasks - Mentor future hires into the department on best practices and procedures for data analysis - Work with the RCM Operations Manager, Product, and External Vendors to influence healthcare data strategy - Identify opportunities to automate analyses and provide AI driven insights to increase overall department performance What will you NOT do? - You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". Can I work remotely? Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements): Teladoc Health Benefits 2026. Job Requirements
