Verification Engineer

• Develop, implement, and maintain RTL verification environments using UVM or equivalent methodologies • Create and execute coverage-driven verification plans aligned with design specifications • Develop directed and constrained-random test cases and sequences to validate functionality and identify corner cases • Analyze simulation results, debug complex verification and design issues, and perform root-cause analysis in collaboration with RTL design engineers • Implement and track functional and code coverage, driving verification to closure • Develop reusable verification components and write SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) • Participate in design and verification reviews, providing input on design testability, correctness, and optimization • Automate regression testing and enhance verification infrastructure using Python and scripting • Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes, tools, and methodologies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in digital design verification
  • Strong hands-on experience with UVM-based or similar verification methodologies
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and Python
  • Experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys VCS, Siemens/Mentor Questa, Cadence Xcelium)
  • Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals
  • Experience verifying standard bus and interconnect protocols such as AXI, AXI-S, and APB
  • Experience with high-speed communication protocols including PCIe, Ethernet (10G/40G/100G), SPI, and I²C
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver reliable, high-quality verification outcomes
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks to completion

About the role: As a Principal Supplier Performance Engineer, you will support the fabrication of structural and mechanical components from supplier facilities. You will report to the Director, Supply Execution. This is a remote position with travel. What You Will Do This role serves as a key technical leader focused on mineral processing simulation and modeling. The successful candidate will develop advanced models using real plant data and ore characterization results to drive process optimization, flowsheet development, production forecasting, plant debottlenecking, and strategic planning. Core responsibilities include simulation modeling, plant data analysis and optimization, and integration of ore characterization insights. This position will work closely with operations, engineering, and corporate teams to support process design studies, feasibility evaluations, and project development initiatives. - Develop, calibrate, and validate mineral processing simulation models, including comminution and flotation circuits. - Analyze and interpret plant operating data and ore characterization results to build accurate, predictive simulation models. - Apply simulation principles to evaluate circuit performance, run scenario analyses, and support process design and optimization decisions. - Maintain and enhance the organization’s internal simulation capabilities, progressing toward subject‑matter‑expert proficiency. - Extract, clean, and analyze real-time and historical plant data to ensure high‑quality inputs for modeling and decision‑making. - Leverage simulation and data analytics to identify opportunities to improve throughput, recovery, efficiency, and process stability. - Integrate ore characterization data—such as grindability, mineralogy, liberation, density, and hardness—into simulation models. - Collaborate with metallurgy, geology, and laboratory teams to ensure reliable, representative ore characterization inputs. - Clearly communicate complex modeling insights and recommendations to stakeholders across all levels of the organization. - Perform other duties as required.
