Director of Dealer Sales

• Own outbound and pipeline creation (calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals) • Leverage existing dealer relationships to open doors and accelerate meetings • Run full-cycle sales: discovery → demo → follow-up → close • Drive next steps, mutual action plans, and multi-stakeholder approvals within dealer groups • Maintain strong CRM hygiene and deliver accurate weekly forecasting • Help formalize the playbook: ICP, messaging, objections, stage exit criteria • Partner with Customer Success for clean handoffs and fast time-to-value 90-day outcomes • Ramp quickly and run clean discovery + demos independently • Produce consistent weekly pipeline and early closed-won deals • Maintain CRM hygiene and a trustworthy forecast
Job Requirements
- 3+ years selling directly to automotive dealers in a quota-carrying role (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Established dealer network (“Book of Business ”) with the ability to generate meetings quickly through relationships and referrals
- Demonstrated ability to self-source pipeline through outbound and relationships (not dependent on inbound)
- Proven discovery-to-close execution, including multi-stakeholder approvals
- Startup-ready: high autonomy, fast pace, minimal support
- Challenger Sale methodology training/experience (a plus)

Role Description Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with education institutions and other non-profit entities to increase 403(b) and 457 retirement plan participation on behalf of both FTJ Retirement Advisors and FTJ. Work with employees, individuals, and their families to prepare financially for retirement and various life events. Work location is remote, Northeast Missouri. Primary Responsibilities - Recruit new and grow existing assets under management. - Meet with prospects and existing clients to discuss their financial goals, educate and answer questions about various investment options and potential risks. - Meet with School Districts and non-profit organizations providing financial planning education designed to improve 403(b)/457(b) plan participation rates. - Assess the financial needs of individuals and assist them with developing a financial plan. - Memorialize and input prospect and client communication into CRM. - Perform other related duties as assigned and required. Qualifications - Ability to work independently and with a strong internal drive for achievement. - Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to make effective presentations to specific target groups. - Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Requirements - Series 6 or 7, 63, & 65/66 or able to obtain within first 90 days of employment. - Missouri and/or Kansas Life and Health licenses. - Prior work experience in mutual funds, annuities, and Life Insurance. - Prior work with group benefit plans and 501(c)(3) organizations preferred.
