The Cloud DevOps team at LivePerson is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer: a candidate that takes on challenges, continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. Key Responsibilities & Impact - Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Bash to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and applications. - Collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create automation strategies, and deploy efficient solutions. - Utilize cloud technologies and services, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to architect and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. - Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Proven experience of 2 years in Python programming with a focus on automation and scripting. - Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. - Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Requirements - The salary range for this role will be between $90,000 - $110,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure-focused software engineering roles. - Significant experience operating production systems in at least one major public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Practical experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef). - Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms. - Experience working with CDN, DNS, and edge security platforms (e.g., Cloudflare). - Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and distributed systems. - Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and drive them to resolution. - Ability to prioritize competing initiatives and manage work with minimal oversight. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Benefits - Annual Cash Compensation Range: $108,000 — $162,000 USD. - Base salary, on-target commission for eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan. - Participation in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). - Tailored individual compensation packages based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
