Lead DevOps Engineer – M&S Platform Baseline
VivSoft
• Develop and maintain software systems using technologies such as C++, Python, AFSIM, web services, databases, and web applications. • Architect, implement, and configure the M&S DevSecOps platform for both cloud and on-premises environments, tailored to application, user, or site requirements. • Apply DevSecOps tools and processes, including GitLab, SonarQube, Fortify, and other CI/CD and security automation platforms. • Lead platform development efforts, including core platform services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations. • Design and maintain systems to ensure high reliability, availability, and performance across distributed environments. • Provide engineering support for transition activities, ensuring legacy attributes are effectively migrated or modernized. • Collaborate with Government and Contractor teams to ensure technical alignment with mission objectives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in software development using C++, Python, AFSIM, web services, databases, and/or web applications.
- Proficiency in DevSecOps tools and practices, including GitLab, SonarQube, and Fortify.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with RESTful architectures.
- Strong background in platform development, including core services and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven ability to design and maintain systems for high reliability and availability.
- Experience supporting transition engineering efforts in complex software environments.
