Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure
Medallion
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability, security, and performance • Define and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform to ensure consistent and auditable environments • Develop, improve, and support CI/CD pipelines to accelerate development cycles and ensure high code quality • Implement and maintain observability tools for monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics across distributed systems • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure infrastructure meets organizational and regulatory requirements • Build and maintain internal developer tooling to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and support operational excellence • Integrate with third-party data services and APIs to enable robust, scalable data flows and platform capabilities
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an infrastructure engineer or software engineer
- Expertise with public cloud infrastructure and relational databases
- Infrastructure as code (i.e. Terraform, Pulumi)
- Able to write code in at least one high level language
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong track record with observability, monitoring, alerting
