Data Scientist – Short-term Contract
Capstone Integrated Solutions
• Support data validation across historical and newly ingested datasets. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and feature relevance. • Assist with data preparation, cleansing, and transformation for modeling. • Collaborate with the Senior Data Scientist on feature understanding and engineering. • Evaluate data across multiple data zones to ensure consistency and accuracy. • Help refine predictive outputs to improve demand and pricing forecasts. • Document findings, assumptions, and validation results throughout the PoC.
Job Requirements
- Professional experience as a Data Scientist or Applied Data Analyst.
- Strong background in data preparation, validation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Experience working with historical time-series or pricing/demand datasets.
- Proficiency with Python and common data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior technical leads and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, SageMaker) is a plus.
- Exposure to pricing, demand forecasting, or supply chain analytics is a plus.
- Familiarity with structured PoC or prototype-driven projects is a plus.
- Strong documentation and communication skills are a plus.
