• Build, test, and deploy scalable full stack applications using Next.js/React, Node.js, and AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3). • Translate product and design requirements into performant, secure, and maintainable code. • Partner with Product to deliver roadmap commitments on schedule with strong testing and documentation standards. • Own key portions of the CI/CD pipeline to ensure reliable, automated delivery. • Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation). • Manage application monitoring, logging, and performance tuning across environments. • Contribute to scaling strategy and cost optimization in AWS. • Implement best practices for data protection, encryption, and identity management. • Support SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance through secure code and infrastructure design. • Collaborate on policies and automation to ensure “privacy and safety by design.” • Work closely with Design, Product, and Clinical teams to align technology decisions with business goals. • Participate in peer reviews and mentoring to raise the technical bar across the team. • Contribute to technical documentation, retrospectives, and postmortems.

• As a technical lead, perform strategic mine design and engineering analyses, including mine design sequencing & scheduling utilizing Deswik software suite. • Conduct or support a full range of mine engineering functions, including: • Detailed design of Mingomba underground mine • Engineering trade-off studies • Cost estimation and economic analysis of alternatives • Preparation of technical documents including public disclosure documents for Mineral Resources and Reserves • Provide feedback to geological and geotechnical modeling as necessary. • Support both surface and underground facilities engineering • Apply KoBold’s Project Management standards to manage all aspects of projects • Work collaboratively across engineering disciplines and technical staff to develop the skills and procedures needed to effectively deliver mining engineering assignments • Serve as an internal technical resource and provide guidance and mentorship to junior-level staff. • Identify, develop, and follow through on value engineering opportunities • Mentor staff to support their growth and professional development. • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company resources and conduct and adhere to KoBold’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
