What you'll do Core contract and solicitation support - Review federal solicitations (RFI/RFQ/RFP) to identify requirements, risks, compliance obligations, and key dates. - Prepare and maintain a solicitation summary (scope, NAICS, set aside, eval factors, deliverables) for leadership and proposal teams. - Analyze draft and final contracts, task orders, and modifications for terms, clauses, and flow downs impacting performance and risk. - Track and flag FAR/DFARS and agency specific clauses that affect pricing, IP/data rights, cybersecurity, small business rules, and reporting. - Serve as a liaison between leadership, project managers, HR, finance, and external partners on contract related questions. - Monitor and calendar deadlines (proposal due dates, option exercise windows, deliverable due dates, notice periods) and alert stakeholders Subcontracts, teaming, and partner agreements - Draft, review, and redline subcontract agreements to ensure proper flow down of prime contract requirements and risk allocation. - Draft and negotiate teaming agreements, JV agreements, and NDAs with large primes and small business partners. - Coordinate with program and finance staff to align SOWs, pricing, and deliverables across prime, sub, and teaming documents. - Maintain a central repository of all partners, subcontract documents and track key dates (options, renewals, notice periods). Compliance and risk management - Verify that proposed contract language complies with FAR/DFARS and agency supplements, raising exceptions or concerns to leadership. - Identify and document contract risks (scope, schedule, funding, key personnel, data/security, termination) and propose mitigation actions. - Track and help implement mandatory flow downs for cybersecurity, small business programs, labor and wage requirements, and reporting. - Support audits or reviews by providing organized contract files, summaries, and documentation of decisions. Business development and proposal support - Support go/no go reviews with clear assessments of contractual risk, competition type, and small business implications (especially WOSB). - Prepare contract related sections of proposals (reps and certs, small business approach, subcontracting narratives, exceptions/deviations). - Assist with pricing inputs that are contract driven (e.g., option structures, ceilings, surge language, ODC handling). • Stakeholder engagement with NZC consortium partners, suppliers and city stakeholders • Support to the NZC teams with procurement planning and budgeting • Review of technical scopes and specifications as formulated by partners, and their subsequent conversion to tender documentation • Management of tendering procedures in compliance with EU public procurement principles • Contract management throughout the contract lifecycle and invoice processing

• Continual communications with plant leadership and production planners to understand dynamic plant sourcing needs • Maintain good relationships and sound partnerships with suppliers • Monitor regional market dynamics and understand how this will impact suppliers, predict future market trends, and develop and execute buying strategy accordingly • Monitor suppliers for volume, mix, and quality. • Resolve any non-conformance issues with suppliers • Single point of communication between the plants and the suppliers • Responsible for negotiating best cost per ton (CPT) and providing forecasts • Expected to make frequent face-to-face visits with plant leadership and suppliers • Cruise timber, purchase timber, contract logging and trucking, for the procurement of roundwood raw material, if needed. • Understand current roundwood market for the negotiation of timber and Gatewood pricing • Arrange transportation as needed
