Network Systems Engineer

• Configure and maintain network hardware and software • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues • Upgrade network infrastructure to meet strict vulnerability management requirements • Document standard operating procedures for network maintenance • Implement security standards to safeguard systems • Research and recommend automated approaches for system administration tasks • Evaluate network systems to improve service delivery and efficiency • Support continuous audit readiness, evidence collection, and remediation planning • Interact with peer groups and management to ensure project completion
Job Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in network administration
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, IPv6, VPNs, and firewalls
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ preferred
- Experience in federally regulated environments preferred
