Role Description Geo CGI is looking for a Junior GIS Solutions Engineer to support our client in the Washington D.C. Area. The candidate will help build and integrate enterprise GIS capabilities within a federal investigative data environment. They will support the development of spatial data pipelines and applications that connect large-scale data in AWS with geospatial analytical tools. - Assist with implementation and configuration of enterprise GIS systems within AWS cloud environments. - Support development of automated workflows that convert tabular data into spatial datasets through geocoding and spatial processing. - Assist in developing GIS dashboards and web-based applications for visualizing claims activity and performing basic spatial analysis. - Support integration of GIS platforms with enterprise data repositories and data warehouses. - Maintain spatial datasets and ensure data quality and consistency. - Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project leadership to support project deliverables. Qualifications - U.S. citizenship with Active Passport. - 3+ years with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, GIS, Data Science or STEM related field. - Experience in ArcGIS Pro/Online. - Familiarity with Python, SQL, or other scripting languages. - Basic spatial analysis concepts and strong problem-solving skills. Requirements - Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms. - Interest in investigative analysis or data visualization. - Experience with web GIS, dashboards, or spatial data processing. - Familiarity with large datasets or relational databases. Job Requirements
