Okta Integrations Consultant

Role Description You will join a team where everyone, including you, is dedicated to continuously improving their knowledge of tools and practices. We are a supportive team that collaborates to solve problems and provides constructive feedback to help each other grow. In This Role, You Will: - Work as an Okta Integration Consultant with the IT team to address the Okta project backlog from initial triage and prioritization to final execution and delivery. Scope of Work & Key Deliverables: - Drive the end-to-end execution of the Okta project backlog, including the fulfillment of new integration requests received during the engagement. - Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and SCIM provisioning to eliminate manual password management and reduce administration overhead. - Automate user lifecycle management processes to ensure timely offboarding (eliminating "stale access") and compliant access suspension for employees who fail mandatory security training. - Reduce technical debt and attack surface by removing obsolete Okta integrations tied to sunset systems. - Drive projects independently with minimal oversight, providing regular updates to the Sr. IT Analyst. - Produce clear documentation and transfer knowledge for all completed integrations to the internal IT team. Qualifications - Proven experience configuring SAML 2.0, OIDC, and JIT integrations for a wide variety of SaaS applications. - Experience in automating User Lifecycle Management, including SCIM provisioning, attribute mapping, and other create-update-deactivate scenarios. - Demonstrated history of managing high-volume integration projects with current proficiency in the Okta ecosystem. - Ability to analyze project backlog and prioritize work based on security risk, business impact, and technical complexity in collaboration with impacted teams and integration stakeholders. - Ability to produce detailed documentation and transfer knowledge for every integration to ensure internal teams can seamlessly conduct post-project support and maintenance. - Experienced acting as project manager and liaison between IT, App Owners (the "business side"), and vendors to gather technical requirements, manage project scope and facilitate stakeholder communication.
