Frontend Developer
Weekday (YC W21)
• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable UI components for the Security platform. • Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create intuitive user experiences. • Convert UX designs and wireframes into responsive, ready-to-use interfaces. • Contribute to the creation of design systems and reusable component libraries. • Enhance applications to improve performance, scalability, and usability. • Engage in product discussions and UX enhancements, maintaining a user-centered approach. • Help define the frontend architecture and establish best practices as the product evolves.
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in developing modern web applications.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and contemporary frontend frameworks, with a preference for React.
- Proven ability to translate UX designs into refined UI components.
- Sound understanding of UI/UX principles, usability, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with component-driven development and design systems.
- Keen attention to detail regarding performance and user experience.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ownership.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
