Join our network of independent alteration professionals. Key Responsibilities - Design Critique & Visual Analysis - Evaluate and critique how AI systems interpret and analyse visual design across mediums. - Assess aesthetics, composition, visual reasoning, and design quality in structured project workflows. - Provide critical feedback on visual outputs, design decisions, and creative interpretation. - Workflow Review & Development - Craft, critique, and review experimental design workflows with frontier AI models. - Help shape repeatable and high-quality evaluation processes for visual and design-oriented tasks. - Work asynchronously with a team of designers across disciplines. - Creative Review & Communication - Apply strong written and verbal communication skills to reviews, critiques, and commentary. - Contribute insights grounded in design criticism, theory, visual culture, or related practice. - Support projects requiring clear articulation of aesthetic judgment and visual analysis. Qualifications - 1+ years of professional experience in a visual, critique-based, or design-adjacent field. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a design-related field such as Art History, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Design Theory, Architecture, Visual Culture Studies, Film and Media Studies, Illustration, Editorial Design, or Journalism with a visual or arts focus. - Experience writing or speaking critically about visual work through reviews, essays, critiques, studio feedback, editorial analysis, academic writing, or design commentary. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Current location in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Europe, Australia, or Brazil.
