Analytics Engineer

• Design, build, and iterate on dashboards and analytical reports using enterprise BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Sisense) • Develop calculations and analytical logic within BI tools to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance • Conduct exploratory and ad hoc analyses using SQL and Python to answer new or ambiguous business questions • Work alongside Data Engineers to review and influence warehouse models so they effectively support downstream reporting needs • Translate stakeholder questions into structured analyses and well-designed reporting solutions • Work with structured warehouse data and existing data models to create clear, performant, and maintainable analytical outputs • Maintain and organize BI environments, documentation, and reporting standards • Move quickly to meet evolving business needs while maintaining high standards of precision and data integrity • Perform ad hoc requests as needed, working with stakeholders to merge frequent requests into the analytics domain • Apply new technologies, including AI, to meet the analysis and decision support needs of the organization

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent years of professional experience)
  • Experience delivering dashboards and analytical outputs in enterprise BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Sisense)
  • Experience developing calculations or expressions within BI platforms (e.g., DAX, LookML, calculated fields/columns)
  • Experience working with structured warehouse data and collaborating on data model improvements
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data
  • Baseline proficiency in Python for data exploration or visualization
  • Strong data visualization skills, with the ability to design dashboards that are clear, logically structured, and visually meaningful
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to analytical accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Position Overview: The Senior ETL Developers will maintain existing ETL processes and support the migration to Snowflake, using best-in-class practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
