Job Description
Cathodic Protection Technician
Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS)
• Conduct cathodic protection surveys, repairs and installations • Perform regulatory-driven cathodic protection surveys and maintenance to ensure compliance • Test and troubleshoot cathodic protection systems and equipment • Utilize software to record, monitor, and evaluate cathodic protection and atmospheric corrosion data
Job Requirements
- AMPP/NACE Cathodic Protection Tester (CP1) certification required
- 2+ years of related experience with cathodic protection systems
- Certification, diploma or degree in corrosion technology or related field
- Basic knowledge of DC circuits, chemistry and metallurgy
- Knowledge of CFR 49, Parts 192, 193 and 195
- Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
