Job Description: Procurement Strategic Sourcing Manager – Thermal Systems The Procurement Strategic Sourcing Manager has responsibility for support of the thermal businesses and products and will secure long-term total quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of direct material supply throughout the total product lifecycle. Essential Duties: - Responsible for all supplier commercial relationships within the assigned business areas, securing targeted levels of cost, quality, delivery, sustainability, and supply continuity. - Develop and implement assigned Supplier strategies that meet internal and external customer demands. - Support new product development activities across the business unit by setting supplier strategies, managing costs to meet product margin goals, and helping to launch product to mass production. - Complete and manage the lifecycle of supplier contracts including corporate agreements, annual pricing negotiations and awards, payment terms, and inventory. - Develop and align Supplier technical roadmaps in partnership with Sales and Engineering. - In working with sites, is responsible for supplier performance and rating based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Quality, Delivery, and Cost. - Drive Supplier and spend consolidation across multiple sites within the NA region in alignment with corporate goals and direction. - Find, assess, and develop new Suppliers as needed in accordance with corporate direction and in alignment with Sales and Engineering. - In working with sites, assess and complete Purchase Price Variance (PPV) activities including budgeting, forecasting, and reducing PPV impact to the business. - Support sites on a when-needed basis to ensure critical customer service levels are maintained through supplier escalation, alternate sourcing, secondary sourcing. - Ability to travel internationally to support development and launch activities. Qualifications (Education and Experience): Required - Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field - Minimum 5 years of business or procurement experience - Experience negotiating with suppliers in a low volume manufacturing business. - Background in electronic (printed circuit board assembly, wire/cable assemblies, controls, semiconductors) and thermal (pumps, fans, compressors) components.
