Job Summary The Senior Director, Hosting Business Development is an IC role responsible for driving Libsyn’s growth with top-tier podcasters, networks, and media companies. This person will act as the ultimate platform expert, leading strategic client acquisition, influencing product strategy through feedback, and representing Libsyn externally. They will influence cross-functional teams, and scale initiatives that expand revenue, adoption, and platform impact. How You Will Make an Impact Strategic Client & Network Growth - Lead acquisition and expansion of high-value podcast hosting clients and networks, leveraging deep industry relationships. - Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives that maximize revenue, engagement, and retention for podcasters and the company. - Represent Libsyn externally at events, panels, and in industry discussions, positioning the company as the partner of choice for top-tier content creators. Platform Evangelism & Product Strategy - Serve as the internal and external authority on Libsyn’s platform capabilities, workflows, and analytics. - Translate client needs into actionable insights for Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to drive platform evolution. Cross-Functional Leadership & Mentorship - Collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, and Product to align strategies, messaging, and client experiences. - Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring operational excellence and measurable results. Data & Performance Accountability - Define and track KPIs for strategic partnerships, client growth, and platform adoption. - Use analytics and market insights to optimize partnership strategies, revenue streams, and product offerings. - Provide regular reporting to senior leadership, highlighting impact, opportunities, and recommendations.
