Partnerships Program Manager
Crunchbase
• Data Vendor Management: Run end-to-end vendor evaluation and onboarding processes. Coordinate vendor discovery calls, lead internal data quality assessments alongside our Data Management team (coverage analysis, validation checks, missing field audits), support commercial negotiation, manage contract execution, and own the ongoing vendor relationship, including regular data quality cadences and remediation when issues arise. • Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage operational aspects of content licensing and data acquisition, including partner communications, contract coordination, and ingestion handoff. Coordinate evaluation and intake of external data sources in partnership with Product and Data teams. Support ongoing data partner relationships to ensure data quality, cadence, continuity, and adherence to agreed standards. • Venture Program Operations: Drive activation and engagement across the Crunchbase Venture Program. Develop relationships with top-tier VC and accelerator partners to increase active data contributions. Process new member applications, design and manage partner benefits (promo codes, portfolio discounts, CB Daily features), and identify opportunities to expand programming that keeps firms engaged and contributing. • Accelerator & Ecosystem Partnerships: Manage inbound and outbound relationships with accelerators, incubators, and startup investment platforms. Set up promotional programs, coordinate co-marketing, and serve as the primary point of contact for ecosystem partner inquiries. • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work across Product, Engineering, Data Management, Legal, and Marketing to move partnership initiatives from agreement to live outcome. Manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communication. • Partner Operations & Documentation: Maintain partner records, program documentation, and reporting. Support contract coordination, compliance tracking, and data quality cadences with active partners. Maintain and improve partner-facing documentation, onboarding guides, FAQs, and execution playbooks. • Pipeline & Evaluation Support: Help identify and assess new data and ecosystem partnership opportunities. Conduct initial diligence, prepare recommendations, and support leadership in prioritizing the partner pipeline.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in partnerships, program management, vendor management, operations, or cross-functional execution roles
- Experience working with or supporting data partnerships, technology integrations, SaaS ecosystems, or vendor procurement processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical-related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Comfortable coordinating across Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, and Data teams with the ability to be fluent while working alongside technical teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex vendor or partner conversations into clear, structured recommendations for internal stakeholders
- Experience evaluating business or partnership opportunities through a structured, analytical lens (e.g., consulting, strategy, investment banking, or program management backgrounds are a plus)
