Role Description Scale LLP, a national, fully distributed law firm, is inviting experienced attorneys to join its growing national practice. We are looking for a Corporate Associate based in or near Fort Worth, Texas to support our Corporate & Securities Group. This role offers something rare: a remote position supplemented with direct, in-person mentorship from one of the co-heads of our Corporate & Securities Group whose office is in the Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about the combination of a remote position paired with in-person mentorship and client interaction opportunities, spending a few days each month working alongside a seasoned partner in Granbury as an investment in your development, not just supervision. If you want to build your practice with real guidance and hands-on client exposure, this is the opportunity. Qualifications - 3–5 years of substantive, hands-on corporate experience in client-facing roles. - General corporate representation, entity formation, and corporate governance. - Commercial contract drafting and negotiation. - Mergers and acquisitions (including due diligence and transaction documentation). - Private placements and securities offerings. - Public company reporting and SEC compliance. - Business succession planning.
