Support will include instrument installations, customer training, evaluation monitoring, routine customer follow up, on-site troubleshooting, product demonstrations, and other pre- and post-sale technical support in the assigned territory. Your profile - Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or equivalent. Master’s degree in molecular biology or a related field desirable. - 2-5 years of clinical lab experience, and/or 2-5 years within a field-based customer support function. - Deep knowledge of wet lab molecular biology methods/techniques in a clinical lab setting. Some familiarity with NGS applications would be helpful. - Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of molecular biology, including DNA/RNA purification, PCR, and sequencing. - Experience with CRM software (particularly Salesforce.com) highly desirable - A customer-facing personality, including the ability to build positive relationships and engage in scientific discussions with customers. - Ability to effectively troubleshoot and solve customers’ technical problems by phone, email, webinar, and in-person. - Ability to integrate both internal and field-based resources to find creative solutions to customer requests. Organized and able to work independently as well as on a team. - Some project management experience is highly desirable. - Ability to travel 70% with anticipated overnights of 40%. - Territory: Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In this position, you will be providing full-time IT legal support services using various programs.
