Director – Engineering
IntegriChain
• Plays the role of Team Lead of two of our ICyte application teams while working closely with the Product Managers & BAs to transform business requirements into efficient and scalable technical design. • Own & lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise-grade web apps for large transactional datasets. • Leverage various AI models through tools (such as Copilot) for code generation, test case generation, code analysis, and code optimization. And advocate the practice for significant efficiencies. • Optimize app performance and improve observability & monitoring for reliability and cost-efficiency. • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.). • Support migration to modern cloud-native architectures (Snowflake, AWS Services). • Document processes, system context, and data flows for cross-team dependency & visibility. • Collaborate with the other Team Leads & Architects on architecture and system design efforts. • Own the data model design of application databases. Write efficient, well-structured database queries.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on professional experience in Product Engineering field building enterprise-grade applications
- Proven track record in leading geographically distributed teams (especially US & India) of Engineers (Dev & QA)
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the programming languages (Python is MUST)
- Strong skills in designing and maintaining Web Apps (Frameworks: Python-based ORM, API, Javascript)
- Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries in any relational or columnar database
- Hands-on experience in leveraging various AI models through tools (such as Copilot) for code generation, test case generation, code analysis, and code optimization is highly preferred
- Hands-on skills in designing and enhancing DB models
- Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS Services)
- Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) model as part of the Agile development process
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimized performance, fault-tolerance, and reliability
- Experience working with large-scale datasets in healthcare, pharma, or financial services is a plus
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2) is preferred
- Ability to create and interpret technical diagrams using tools like Lucidchart
- Experience with agile & documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
