With coverage of lesser known locales as well as main city sites, Context experts take clients through in-depth, thematic topics to help them get to know the DNA of a place. Role: Our sales team is looking for a highly organized professional with experience in travel industry sales and marketing. This role will support business development with travel agencies and other partners. Understanding of the US travel trade landscape will be key to success in this role. This is an exciting opportunity to report directly into our Director of Business Development and help grow our travel advisor channel at greater than 30% year over year. This is a remote role that works closely with trade marketing, delivery, and product teams. Location: Remote role Schedule: U.S. Eastern Hours, Mon-Fri, 9-5, with some nights and weekends for travel/events Salary: $55k-65k, depending on experience Responsibilities of this role will include: - Builds and maintains relationships for the travel agency channel - Finds, coordinates, and leads agency trainings and Context webinars - Executes end-to-end conference strategy - Leads 1:1 meetings and webinars - Prospects for new agencies and advisors - Creates marketing materials including flyers and presentations - Creates content for webinars, meetings, and emails - Manages department inbox - Builds, updates, and analyzes workflows and automations in CRM - Collects and raises roadblocks as needed - Assists in agency and advisor registration - Manages advisor toolkit - Tracks KPIs - Participates meaningfully in team meetings - Joins project working groups or task forces - Works cross-functionally - Consults in quarterly and annual planning - 15% travel required, heavier during conference season Requirements: - Understanding of the travel agency market in the U.S., including host agencies and consortia - Relationships with FIT travel advisors a plus - Highly organized and comfortable working with tight deadlines - Must have current driver’s license - Eligibility to work in the US during Eastern office hours Preferred systems experience: - Google (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Meet, Gmail) - HubSpot - Front - Slack - Zoom - Guru - Basecamp What you'll bring: - Demonstrated autonomous ownership: can triage, decide, and close loops without heavy supervision.Sincere enthusiasm for connecting with clients both via email and over the phone - An eagerness to close the sale and celebrate the win - Resilience and composure—you handle unhappy clients with empathy and a thick skin - Cultural sensitivity—you have experience and/or interest in working with colleagues and people from around the globe - Versatility in managing a wide range of tasks and responsibilities in a fast paced environment - Close attention to detail and strong working memory - Comfortable self-serving on information and not afraid to ask questions for clarification - A curious, learning-driven mindset—you’d happily be one of our clients yourself - 2-4 years work experience in a related role.
