• Build Sales from 0 1→ Personally drive early customer acquisition, acting as a player/coach. Leverage existing ShipMonk channels and resources, while building Trellis-specific channels • Define initial ICPs, buyer personas, and use cases in partnership with GM and Product • Translate early customer learnings into repeatable sales motions • Help define Trellis’s value proposition, positioning, and ROI narrative as the product evolves through iterations with customers • Develop early sales processes, messaging, and qualification criteria • Build any sales or marketing collateral needed • Identify and pursue any key partnerships • Establish CRM hygiene, forecasting discipline, and basic sales metrics • Lay the groundwork for future sales hiring, enablement, and scale
Job Requirements
- Significant experience in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry, with a deep understanding of last-mile carriers’ operations
- Proven success selling to an audience with a wide range of industry knowledge. From SMB founders with less transportation understanding to transportation leaders at enterprise-level businesses (e.g., Heads of Transportation, Logistics Managers)
- Experience selling complex, operationally driven solutions (not just SaaS shelfware)
- Prior experience in early-stage, build-as-you-go, or entrepreneurial environments strongly preferred

JOB SUMMARY: A Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for managing and growing their sales territory. This position is the field professional representative to the Medical Community and is the ambassador of the company. The TM is responsible for sales of company services. This may include, but not be limited to, prospecting, quoting and closing new business. Once the service is sold it is the responsibility of the TM to in-service and educate the account. The TM is also responsible for managing the existing service business. The TM is expected to update their activities and opportunities in accordance with company standard operating policies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following duties: Achieve revenue plan for service sales. Achieve goals and plans for all product lines. Call on physician group practices and hospitals regarding service sales. In-service new and existing accounts. Update the company on activities, competition, and opportunities on a daily basis Send in expense reports on a monthly basis. Manage expenses within the allotted plan. Work with Product Managers to generate new or foster existing customers. Maintain thorough knowledge of all product lines.
