Business Development Representative
Packetlabs
• Drive new business by generating and qualifying leads through strategic outbound prospecting using email, LinkedIn, phone, and social selling • Craft outreach that is so personalized, relevant, and insightful that it is too hard to ignore • Leverage investor reports, strategy documents, and company earnings calls to create messaging that resonates with executive buyers • Engage decision-makers and build relationships through consultative selling approaches • Book and qualify meetings using the BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) framework • Work closely with Account Executives to understand won business, the factors that drove the deal, and how the client achieved success • Use insights from won deals to identify and source similar clients in related industries or with shared pain points • Track key performance metrics such as response rates, meetings set, and opportunities created. Log all activity in our CRM • Continuously refine outreach strategies based on data, coaching, and market feedback • Stay informed about cybersecurity trends to have relevant conversations with CISOs, IT leaders, and security professionals • Learn, understand, and embrace the culture and core values of Packetlabs
Job Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or similar outbound sales roles
- A proven track record of exceeding lead generation and meeting-setting goals
- Experience selling security, SaaS, or IT services is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive messaging across LinkedIn, email, and phone
- Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools
