• Take ownership of end-to-end development across our platform, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality, user-centric experiences • Contribute to system design and architecture, shaping APIs, data models, and service boundaries • Implement and maintain backend services, PostgreSQL databases, and infrastructure • Work across the web layer by building and integrating frontend features, while helping improve performance and test coverage across our applications

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, backend services, and serverless components • Build scalable, high-quality solutions using PHP/Laravel and modern front-end frameworks • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting users, partners, and internal stakeholders • Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to deliver high-impact features • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term scalability and system stability • Define and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality-driven development processes • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, supporting their technical growth • Take ownership of features and initiatives from concept through delivery

• Diseñar y desarrollar APIs RESTful y/o GraphQL según requerimientos funcionales y técnicos. • Documentar, mantener y asegurar que las APIs cumplan con las mejores prácticas de la industria. • Colaborar con equipos front-end, back-end y otros stakeholders para integrar APIs en distintos sistemas. • Optimizar el rendimiento de las APIs (tiempos de respuesta, caching, rate limiting, etc.). • Implementar prácticas de seguridad para proteger las APIs frente a amenazas (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.) y asegurar cumplimiento normativo (ej. HIPAA). • Desarrollar y ejecutar pruebas unitarias, de integración y end-to-end. • Depurar y resolver problemas relacionados con funcionalidad, rendimiento y seguridad. • Crear y mantener documentación completa de las APIs (endpoints, guías de uso, ejemplos). • Brindar soporte a equipos internos y externos que utilicen las APIs. • Mantenerse actualizado sobre tendencias y buenas prácticas en desarrollo de APIs y microservicios.
