Role Description The Pre-Construction Associate will play a critical role in the development and execution of Aypa’s portfolio of stand-alone battery storage and hybrid projects. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to successfully plan, design, and prepare projects during the pre-construction phase. - Support in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and assist in the formation of budgets for mid-to-large scale BESS and/or solar projects - Collaborate with management and development to identify and review project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure all potential issues are addressed proactively - Coordinate to engineering design reviews during late-stage development and provide input regarding feasibility and constructability - Support curation of project documentation and permitting from the Development Team to the Construction Team - Oversee the preparation and submission of permitting applications and compliance documents, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met - Support the evaluation of risks on mature project sites, including site visits and data collection - Collaborate with the Engineering and Procurement team to ensure project designs meet technical, vendor, and regulatory requirements, and provide expert reviews on design documents, drawings, and specifications - Engage with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control - Work with Procurement to identify scope gaps before or after the execution of respective contracts - Administer meetings with EPC contractors, suppliers, and interconnecting utilities for projects before mobilization - Maintain effective communication and schedules with internal project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned - Ensure that projects adhere to environmental and safety standards and assist in the development of safety plans and protocols - Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports, and prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders - Other duties as assigned or required, including techno-commercial value engineering Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering, project or construction management, environmental science, or a related field - 1 to 3 years of experience as a project manager or project engineer in the renewable energy sector - Professional Engineer (P.Eng, PE) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) designations considered an asset - Proven track record of supporting utility-scale projects, with a preference for previous BESS and Solar experience - Strong knowledge of MS Project, P6, or Primavera - Strong technical analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Knowledge of regulatory and permitting processes in the energy sector Requirements - Full-time base salary commensurate with experience - An annual bonus will be awarded based on both individual performance as well as the overall success of the business - Aypa offers an attractive benefits package with excellent health care/dental/vision, 401k matching, unlimited vacation, paid parental leave, and other health/wellness benefits - Remote (USA) location - Ability to work in the United States is a requirement - Preference is given to candidates located in Austin, TX, or Salt Lake City, UT, or willing to relocate - 20% travel Benefits - Attractive benefits package with excellent health care/dental/vision - 401k matching - Unlimited vacation - Paid parental leave - Other health/wellness benefits

• Environmental regulatory and permitting responsibilities include identifying project-specific environmental regulatory requirements; coordinating with resource agency personnel; writing and reviewing technical reports; developing environmental permit applications (federal, state, and local); presenting at public meetings; and facilitating successful environmental permitting of multiple and varied projects. • Project management responsibilities may include developing proposals; managing projects and budgets; building and managing project teams; coordinating with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders, and internal project staff; and performing and overseeing project multi-disciplinary technical work. • Business development responsibilities may include maintaining existing client relations and collaborating to develop and pursue new clients and opportunities. As a Closing Team Lead, you will oversee the daily performance and workflow of the Closing team, ensuring loans close accurately, compliantly, and on schedule. Your leadership will directly influence operational efficiency, regulatory adherence, and the overall borrower experience. Assign closing files to closers and coordinate scheduling with clients and settlement agents Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues involving closers, borrowers, or third parties Train and mentor closing team members on procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices Act as a subject matter expert for closing processes, supporting closers, agents, and internal partners Ensure Closing Disclosures (CDs) are issued at least three business days prior to closing in compliance with CFPB/TRID requirements Confirm closing packages are released to settlement agents after required CD acknowledgments Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and investor closing regulations and industry standards Monitor daily pipeline activity, productivity, and team performance, providing updates to leadership Support implementation of new processes, policies, and workflow enhancements Manage team scheduling, attendance tracking, and workload distribution Utilize the loan origination system to review file status, complete tasks, and support team system usage Communicate proactively with borrowers, title companies, and settlement agents to ensure smooth closings Assist with closing packages and operational tasks as needed to maintain service level

Experience with an IT reseller or systems integrator preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government Contracting, Program Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred NCMA certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM).
