Job Requirements
- Proven track record in a senior security leadership role (CISO, Director of Security, or Head of Information Security) within the Financial Services or FinTech sector.
- Direct experience steering organizations through complex information security audits, certifications, licensing, and international regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in creating, implementing, and managing group-level security processes and frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to manage remote, distributed teams.
- Strong sense of ownership, proactiveness, and high responsibility.
- Fluent English with excellent communication and reporting skills; Ukrainian or Russian will be an advantage.

Role Title: (Deputy) Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Role Nature: Volunteer Location: Home-based The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is an international volunteers-led think tank supporting and advocating the application of blockchain and other data technologies in the global fight against climate change. What will you be doing? We are looking for a passionate VOLUNTEER who takes a methodological approach to their work, conducts independent research and analysis, engages with key stakeholders and establishes strategic partnerships to progress the BCI’s core mission. This role is for a (Deputy) Chief Technology Officer and is a very senior position reporting to the Director-General. The successful candidate will provide strategic and technical leadership for Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) / Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data Analysis (BD) across all BCI projects. You will be responsible for the use of DLT/Blockchain, IoT, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Modelling and associated tooling for internal productivity, standards development, and climate action. You will perform research, onboard and train other team members, execute proof of concepts and pilots, and build applications using available data sets and AI models in combination with DTL/Blockchain. You will also research Quantum Computing (QC) use cases for climate action. Candidates' proficiency in programming a blockchain is essential.
