At Last Call, we're helping build a world where access to information is equitable and easy. Our engineers work across the stack to make public services more clear, accessible, and human. This role is part of a feature team streamlining resident access to government services.
Job Requirements
- What we're looking for
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills, with experience in at least one major framework or runtime like React or Node.js. You should be comfortable designing and consuming APIs and working with relational databases. Experience with AWS and IaC tools like Terraform is a plus.
- You communicate clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and take ownership of your work.
- How we work
- Fully remote, no traditional managers. You'll work closely with clients and teammates, take on real technical challenges, and have room to shape how we build. Our work supports essential services, so we hold our code and CI/CD practices to a high standard.
