Full Stack Engineer (Node.js) | Remote

Join us in that effort! You'll own what you build, collaborate directly with teammates and clients, and contribute to how we grow as an engineering team. This role is part of a feature team streamlining resident access to government services.

Job Requirements

  • What we're looking for
  • Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills, with experience in at least one major framework or runtime like React or Node.js. You should be comfortable designing and consuming APIs and working with relational databases. Experience with AWS and IaC tools like Terraform is a plus.
  • You communicate clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and take ownership of your work.
  • How we work
  • Fully remote, no traditional managers. You'll work closely with clients and teammates, take on real technical challenges, and have room to shape how we build. Our work supports essential services, so we hold our code and CI/CD practices to a high standard.

Benefits

  • What we offer
  • Salary of $120,000 to $145,000 based on your skills and experience. Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Flexible PTO. Professional development and home office funds with no pre-set limits.
  • This role is open to engineers based in the 48 contiguous states and D.C.
