As a faculty member, you'll provide practical hands-on instruction through the Canvas LMS in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes. - Terms are five weeks long, offering faculty the perfect environment to share their specific industry experiences. - Must be available evenings and weekends to support busy adult learners. Qualifications - Master’s degree in English or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution. - 3-5 years industry experience required; 10-15 years career industry experience preferred. - Industry experience must be within the last 5 years. - 2 years online teaching/curriculum experience, and strong online webinar presentation skills a plus. - Canvas LMS experience preferred. Requirements - Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction. - Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment. - The highest levels of integrity at all times. - Able to work in a 5 week course accelerated environment. - Approachable and builds rapport quickly. - Attentive listener, and able to see multiple perspectives. - First point of contact to troubleshoot software or technical concerns for students. - Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills. Online Faculty Technical Requirements - Reliable high-speed internet required. - Responsible for supplying your own windows-based computer and webcam. - Your computer system must pass the ECPI University minimum requirements test. - Required to teach one live session each week and hold one live office hour per week via Zoom. Role Description The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role as a physician extender within a remote healthcare team. In this position, the RN supports providers by efficiently managing Electronic Health Records (EHR), responding to patient inquiries, and delivering timely clinical guidance to promote high-quality patient care. - Respond to calls for a multi-state nurse triage telephone service. - Manage inbound and outbound patient communications. - Assess and triage patient needs. - Conduct follow-up outreach. - Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare professionals. - Contribute directly to improved patient outcomes and overall team effectiveness. Qualifications - Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. - Minimum of 2–4 years of full-time clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in areas such as Emergency Room/Urgent Care, Adult or Pediatric Care, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Ambulatory Care, Home Health, or ICU. - Prior telephone triage experience using electronic triage systems. - Experience with at least two different Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms. - Active, unencumbered Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) license required. - Additional non-compact state licensure is considered an asset. - Candidates must be willing to obtain additional state licenses as requested by the company. Requirements - Proven ability to collaborate effectively with peers, cross-functional teams, and leadership. - Willingness to step into leadership when needed, motivate colleagues, and share knowledge to enhance team performance. - Strong empathy, patience, and active listening skills to effectively address patient needs. - Excellent attention to detail in documentation, including correct grammar, spelling, and medical terminology. - Highly organized, with the ability to manage and accurately document a minimum of four calls per hour during peak times.
