• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that drive analytics, product insights, and operational reporting across the company • Develop data movement and storage strategies that meet security standards while managing cost and efficiency tradeoffs • Partner closely with data analysts to ensure value is being delivered in our reporting and alerting systems which are broadly consumed across the business • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to support our product roadmap and ongoing customer needs • Educate others on best practices and continually raise the bar when it comes to the production, application, and maintenance of data at Strike
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building production data systems in a product-focused environment. We build cloud-native data pipelines working with high-volume heterogeneous data across distributed systems
- Strong ownership of projects and the ability to work independently while asking for clarification when needed. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Deep knowledge of various data architectures and design patterns, including their advantages and limitations
- Expertise building multi-step ETL jobs and building robust data models through tooling like DBT. Proficiency with workflow management platforms like Airflow and version control management through GitHub.
- Strong SQL and Python expertise and an understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
