Role Description We are seeking a part-time CAD Technician to support our engineering team with drafting, documentation, and technical tasks. The ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD 2D, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator who can help bring structural restoration projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities - Prepare accurate design plans, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of engineers. - Review and analyze structural concerns, including settlement issues, exterior deck, handrail, or walkway problems, roof leaks or structural integrity concerns. - Evaluate drainage issues and help propose corrective measures. - Maintain organized project files, CAD drawings, and technical documentation. - Collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and clients. Qualifications - Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D. - Experience in structural or civil engineering drafting preferred. - Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently or remotely while meeting deadlines.
