• Develop and close business opportunities in the marine and power generation markets in the Southwest region according to targets. • Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients through consultative engagement and technical insight. • Evaluate inquiries, manage opportunities, and ensure accurate communication across internal teams. • Deliver technical and sales presentations tailored to client needs. • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge, including trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes. • Create and execute sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence. • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events. • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and strong after-sale support.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical outside sales or application engineering experience with a strong track record of prospecting, territory growth, and closing new business.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently prospect, qualify, and close opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to influence and build trust with decision-makers.
  • Experience in power generation, marine, industrial equipment, oil and gas, or related technical markets
  • Strategic thinker who can execute tactically in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 50% to client sites as needed.

We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive to lead new enterprise customer acquisition and drive meaningful revenue growth within a named-account territory. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role owns the full enterprise sales cycle—from initial engagement through close—while collaborating closely with Sales Development, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Product teams.
